Jules Cannon is an Assistant Professor of Library Science and serves as the iHub Coordinator and Outreach Librarian at Sims Memorial Library. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Library Science from the University of North Texas, where they also worked in the Access Services Department of UNT Libraries. In their role at Sims Memorial Library, they coordinate events and programming for both the iHub and the Library, represent the Library in professional and civic settings, cultivate partnerships and collaboration with campus and community organizations, and manage social media for the iHub and the Library. They are interested in how academic library resources and programs can support the needs of marginalized communities.
