Michelle Bellavia is an Instructor of English in the Department of English and World Languages. She has earned an MA in English (Louisiana State University), a BA in English (Nicholls State University), and a Diplôme in French Language and Culture (Institut Catholique de Paris). She has taught English Composition and Literature, French, and Theology throughout her career. She currently teaches English Composition and Literature with an emphasis on her special interest in the underlying folklore and mythology in our daily culture, particularly the folklore of Louisiana and the Americas.
