Mitchell Croatt, Ph.D.

A Professor of Chemistry, Dr. Croatt currently serves as Dean of the College of Science and Technology. Previously, Dr. Croatt served as Department Head for seven years (UNCG), Interim Dean of the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering for fifteen months (UNCG and NCA&T), and Director of the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creativity Office for one year (UNCG). As a research mentor, he has secured funding from the NSF, NIH, ACS, and other funding sources, published over 40 papers, and mentored over 100 students.
