Pamela Tusa, RN, MSN, is an experienced nurse educator with over 18 years of experience in the Nursing Department at Southeastern Louisiana University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from William Carey College in 1999 and her Master’s of Science degree in Nursing Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2006.
As an educator, Pam is committed to instructing students about a misunderstood population of people who are often judged by their mental illness. She holds her students to high standards, balancing these expectations with compassionate, and empathy for this vulnerable population.
Area of Expertise
With over 26 years of experience as a registered nurse, Pam has worked in numerous areas, but her specialty has been with the Mental and Behavioral Health population for the last 20 years. She currently teaches Mental and Behavioral Health Nursing in the didactic and clinical settings.
