Rachel Carazo

Rachel L. Carazo is a Lecturer in the Southeastern Dual Enrollment English Program. She is an Ed.D. candidate at St. Thomas University and an MLIS candidate at the University of Southern Mississippi. She also has a graduate degree in English from Northwestern State University. She specializes in pop culture and film studies, and she is the editor ofĀ ā€œA Hero Will Endureā€: Essays at the Twentieth Anniversary of ā€˜Gladiator’ (2023) as well as several other forthcoming volumes. Her research has been published inĀ Humanities, and she has written numerous chapters for edited volumes. She has published two novels – The VaĆÆndrian QueenĀ (2014) andĀ The EdelsteinĀ (2020) – and is working on her third novel.
