Shanna Money, MSN, RN, FNP-C, is a Faculty Coach in the School of Nursing's RN to BSN Program at Southeastern Louisiana University. A certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Shanna works full-time providing primary care services to the bleeding disorder community. This experience, combined with her years of direct patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, gives her a unique, well-rounded perspective she brings to each course.
Shanna has extensive teaching experience with the School of Nursing, serving as a full-time instructor in the traditional BSN program for eight years where she taught both clinical and theory courses. Now, in the faculty coach role, she guides diploma and associate-prepared Registered Nurses as they pursue their bachelor's degree.
Area of Expertise
A true lifelong learner, she is passionate about encouraging her students to continually grow, learn, and expand their expertise throughout their nursing careers. Shanna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alcorn State University in 2004 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2012.
