At Southeastern, we are committed to keeping our highly competitive degree programs both affordable and accessible to the people of our region. Thanks to the vision of generous alumni and friends, endowed scholarships have been established to ensure that promising students—who might otherwise be unable to attend college—have the opportunity to receive a Southeastern education. Scholarship initiatives for consideration are as follows but not limited to the following initiatives: academic, athletics, completer, fifth-year aid, and other opportunities. Board of Regent matching is also available for First Generation students as well as Superior Graduate Scholarships. 

By alleviating financial burdens, these scholarships allow students to focus deeply on their studies, boost their academic success, and stay on track to graduate within four to five years. Through their incredible generosity, our donors are making a lasting impact, securing access and success for generations of Southeastern students to come.

Southeastern Foundation Endowment Mechanics

  • Minimum to establish is $10,000
  • You may fund through a lump sum or installments over 3 – 5 years
  • Your principal gift is invested in the Foundation’s endowment pool
  • Annual awards come from your permanent fund’s earnings
  • Option to fund a current scholarship or program while endowment grows
  • Student recipients send donor appreciation notes
  • Receive an annual endowed fund report
