A giving circle is a model of pooled, member-driven philanthropy in which individuals come together to learn about community needs, combine their resources, and make collective decisions about grantmaking. Through shared education and group funding decisions, members amplify their impact and support initiatives aligned with their shared values and priorities.
Member ($250), Patron ($500), Champion ($1,000), Student ($50)
The Giving Circle will support initiatives that strengthen student success, advance nursing and health sciences education, and deepen community impact. Each year, members will vote to allocate funding toward priority areas that may include student scholarships, enhancements to the simulation and skills laboratories, faculty development opportunities, student emergency assistance, and community outreach efforts. These investments ensure that our program remains innovative, compassionate, and responsive to the needs of our learners and the communities we serve.
Members are invited to attend semi-annual gatherings for learning opportunities and semi-annual decision-making meetings. These experiences are in-person and virtual – so our broader Southeastern community can participate. Optional committees are available for those who desire additional involvement.
The Founders Circle will serve as interim chairs for the Membership and Grant Committees until the general membership elects or appoints their successors.
