Become a Southeastern Sweetheart

Presented by Miss Southeastern Louisiana University 2025, Eva Delatte

We’re looking for 15 girls, ages 5–10, to join the Southeastern Sweethearts Program – an official chapter of the Miss Louisiana’s Fleur De Lis Program and Miss America’s Little Sisters.

Founded by Miss Southeastern Louisiana University 2025, Eva Delatte, this program is designed to inspire the next generation of confident, talented, and community-minded young leaders, and give them a glimpse into what it is like to be Miss Southeastern.

What’s Included in the Sweetheart Experience

January 10 – Sweetheart Coronation Day
Hosted by Miss Southeastern 2025, Eva Delatte, with special guest First Lady Misty Wainwright, this unforgettable day features:

  • A fun activity focused on community service
  • Activities that build confidence and stage presence
  • Learning a special group performance to be featured at the 2026 Miss Southeastern Pageant
  • A formal crowning ceremony where each Sweetheart receives an official crown, sash, and pin

January 30 – Miss Southeastern Pageant 2026

  • Sweethearts will perform live during the pageant
  • Be featured in the official pageant program book
  • Receive 3 reserved seats to enjoy the event with family

  • Registration Fee: $200 (non-refundable)
  • Participation in both January 10th Coronation and January 30th Pageant is required

Program Requirements

  • Participants must be no younger than 5 and no older than 10 by November 3, 2025
  • Must attend January 10th and January 30th events
  • January 30th 2026- Participants must wear a WHITE tea length or knee length dress and white shoes. Dress socks and pantyhose are optional.
