Restaurant Support

Dear Friends in the Culinary Community,

We invite you to partner with Southeastern Louisiana University for a truly momentous occasion by joining us as a participating restaurant at our upcoming 2025 Chefs Evening. Each year, the Southeastern Louisiana University Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, hosts this beloved fundraising event, which directly benefits student scholarships and academic programs. This year, Chefs Evening will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Pennington Center, during Southeastern’s Centennial Year.

This year’s event will be unlike any before, as we celebrate both the 40th anniversary of Chefs Evening and Southeastern’s 100th year.

Chefs Evening brings together the region’s finest restaurants, bakeries, bars, and caterers for an exclusive culinary showcase right here in Hammond, Louisiana! Guests will savor exceptional food, enjoy raffles, music, and both silent and live auctions, creating an experience that is truly one-of-a-kind. With over 700 expected attendees, participating in this gala offers you an incredible platform to promote your business to a broad and enthusiastic audience.

By joining Chefs Evening 2025 as a featured restaurant, you’re not only promoting your culinary artistry to the Southeastern community but also becoming part of Southeastern’s history.

Participating in this milestone Centennial celebration ensures that your business will be recognized and appreciated as part of an enduring legacy, while helping raise essential funds for scholarships and academic programs that impact the lives of our students.

Thank you for considering this remarkable partnership. We would love to have you join us in making Chefs Evening 2025—a celebration of both our 40th year and the College’s Centennial—a truly historic success!

With Lion Pride,
Jennifer Beckner
