The first step in preparing for final exams is to give yourself sufficient time to study. For the last two weeks of spring semester, Sims Library will be open late, and on Saturday, so that students can prepare for final exams.
“While some students may thrive on last-minute cramming, for the rest of us, it helps set up a timetable for studying,” said Eric Johnson, Sims Library Director. “That’s why we wanted to announce our extended hours well in advance.
The extended hours are as follows:
April 29
Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
April 30 - May 2
Monday - Wednesday 7:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
May 3
Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
May 4
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
May 5
Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
May 6
Sunday 2 p.m.- 1 a.m.
May 7- 9
Monday - Wednesday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
May 10
Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 11 p.m.
May 11
Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
May 12
Saturday -- Commencement
Please note – From 11:00 pm - 1:00 am, the following departments/services are not available:
