The Department of World Languages and Cultures and Sims Library are happy to introduce
a new resource available to all students, faculty, and staff thanks to funding from
a Large Student Tech Fee grant.
Mango Languages is a self-paced, web-based program that "provides a quick introduction to a language
and culture through the acquisition of conversational skills." This resource offers courses in over 70 languages, 21 foreign films, 31 specialty courses (such as Legal
and Medical Spanish, Business Mandarin), and over 17 specialized ESL courses. The
login screen provides users the option to create a profile and track their progress.
Mango can be accessed (on or off-campus) using the library's website (databases by subject or databases by title) or via a mobile app.
A LibGuide is also available to explain the resource in greater detail.
