Printing Services @ Sims Library
Students may print from the Library’s public computers to nearby printers. The public computers are connected to the Southeastern print release system.
All users may utilize the multifunction copier on the first floor of the Library. Prints and copies may be purchased using a Langiappe account, accessible with a Southeastern ID or Lagniappe card. Color copying is not available in the Library. The copiers are provided and maintained by Southeastern’s Auxiliary Services.

Notice: The copyright law of the United States (Title 17 U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. The person using this equipment is liable for any infringement.
Due to copyright laws, staff will not scan or photocopy copyrighted materials for users.
Student Printing
To print, currently enrolled students are required to log into the computers with their W number and Southeastern password. After initiating a print job, the job must be released to the printer.
Students may need to update their password to log in to Library computers. Passwords can be changed using the Okta Verify app. More information is available on the Help Desk FAQs.

Faculty / Staff Printing
Faculty and staff visiting the Library are encouraged to save information to a USB drive or send it to themselves via e-mail.
Employees may also visit The Document Source for printing services.
Faculty and staff who need to do extensive printing in the Library should follow the instructions below for Guest Printing.
Guest Printing
Printing is available at the multifunction copier on the first floor of the Library. Prints and copies may be purchased from Lion’s Lagniappe. For more information, see the Copy Cards and Lion’s Lagniappe section below.
Color copying is not available in the Library. The copiers are provided by Southeastern’s Auxiliary Services.
Printing from Personal Devices
Printing is not currently available from personal devices.
Reporting Lost Prints
Students who are charged but do not receive their prints may request a print refund by selecting Report Lost Prints on the Student Technology Center’s Printing page.
Copy Cards and Lion's Lagniappe
A Southeastern ID card or a Lion’s Lagniappe card must be used to purchase copies.
Money can be added to either card using the Lion’s Lagniappe Value Terminal (LLVT) located on the Library’s 1st floor near the Circulation Desk.
Guests may purchase and add value to a reusable Lion’s Lagniappe card using the LLVT.
There is a non-refundable $1 fee for each card. Value must be added in the amounts of $1, $5, $10, or $20.
Campus Card Operations is responsible for maintaining the copy card system. They may be contacted regarding lost money.
Photocopying / Scanning on First Floor
A user-operated photocopier/scanner is provided on the first floor near the circulation desk. Assistance is available.
Scanning on a photocopier is free and can be emailed to a Southeastern email account.
Microform Scanning on Second Floor
Digital microform scanners are available in the Serials Department at no charge and can be used for both microfilm and microfiche.
Users must supply their own disk or flash drive to save the scan or print using the print release system. Scans can also be emailed.
