Concentration
The Master’s in English with a Concentration in Professional Writing provides students with advanced training in writing for a variety of professional contexts, including business, technical, digital, and nonprofit settings. This concentration emphasizes clarity, strategy, and audience awareness, helping students develop the skills needed to produce effective written communication across media and industries. As part of a flexible graduate program, the Professional Writing concentration prepares students for careers in editing, technical writing, content development, public relations, and other writing-intensive professions. Graduates are equipped to succeed in both corporate and creative environments where strong writing is essential.
