Concentration
The Master’s in English with a Concentration in Publishing Studies offers students practical and theoretical training in the production, editing, and distribution of written content across print and digital platforms. This concentration emphasizes editorial practices, publishing technologies, and the business of publishing, preparing students for careers in book and magazine publishing, digital media, content management, and related industries. As part of a flexible graduate program, the Publishing Studies concentration provides hands-on experience with industry tools and processes, along with mentorship from faculty with professional expertise. Graduates pursue careers in editing, production, marketing, and literary agency work across a variety of publishing environments.

Thesis Option: thirty-six (36) graduate hours of English, including six (6) hours of graduate credit from ENGL 7700, maximum of six (6) graduate hours in a related field, One Theory and Methods Course, At least eighteen (18) hours of course work at the 6000-level
