Minor

The minor in Philosophy allows students to acquire a deeper knowledge of philosophy from the ancient world to the present (including aesthetics, critical thinking, ethics, intellectual history, and philosophy of history, as well as β€œpure” philosophy) and prepares them for careers in a wide variety of fields that utilize creativity, critical thinking, professional reading and writing skills. The minor requires 18 hours, with 12 hours in 300-level Philosophy courses and 6 hours in 400-level Philosophy courses.
