Submit a job request or team registration now to be part of Southeastern's spring community service event

Southeastern's student-led community service event, The Big Event, will take place Saturday, March 28. Last year, nearly 600 students participated in the effort to give back to the local communities of Hammond and Ponchatoula.
The Big Event, hosted by Southeastern's Student Government Association, is accepting job requests through March 13 from the community. Common jobs include but are not limited to painting houses, raking yards, landscaping, laying bricks and more.
Student team registrations also are being accepted. Participating students receive free t-shirts and gain valuable community service experience while interacting with the residents of Southeastern's community.
