The City Club of Hammond recently presented scholarships for the fall 2005 and spring 2006 semesters to Southeastern Louisiana University students Veronica Holden, a senior psychology major from Ponchatoula, and Melissa LaPuma, a junior pre-veterinary medicine major from Hammond. The club also made a donation to the Joel McWilliams Endowed Scholarship, which honors the memory of a past city club member. Pictured are City Club Treasurer Hart Bordelon and Sarah Schillage, annual fund coordinator for the Southeastern Development Foundation.
