Lions Club adds to scholarship endowment

Southeastern Louisiana University President Randy Moffett, far left, and Vice President for University Advancement Joe Miller, far right, accept a donation from Ponchatoula Lions Club representatives Phil Alexander, Joe Derey and Lyle Lambert for the Ponchatoula Lions Club Excellence in Education Scholarship. The club’s latest donation brings the scholarship’s endowment up to a total of $250,000.  The scholarship provides financial assistance to five Southeastern students from the Ponchatoula area.
