Baton Rouge area alumni invited to June 11 fish fry

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University alumni and friends are invited to a fish fry on Sunday, June 11, hosted by the Alumni Association’s Red Stick Chapter.
The social is scheduled for 3-6 p.m. and will be hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Anthony Ioppolo, whose Baton Rouge home at 846 Myrtle Hill Drive will be featured in an upcoming edition of “Better Homes and Gardens” magazine.
The cost for the fish fry “and all the trimmings” is $8 per person, with no charge for children under 12 years of age. Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair.
Alumni and friends are also invited to the Tangi Chapter’s annual shrimp boil at the Alumni Center, 500 W. University Ave., on Friday, June 9, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event will also serve as the chapter’s business meeting.
Admission is $10 per person in advance at the Alumni Center and $12 at the door. Children are welcome.
