Campus access to be limited during Thanksgiving closure

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University will limit access to campus during evening hours while the university is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, Nov. 26-30.
The policy is being implemented to help ensure the safety of faculty, staff, and students during the holiday break and to better safeguard university property, university officials said.
From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the closure dates, access will be permitted only via SGA Drive or by special request made to the University Police Department.
Students will have access to their residence halls via SGA Drive. Faculty and other individuals must call the University Police Department at (985) 549-2222 to enter campus after 6 p.m. The University Police Department is available at all times to assist with inquiries.
