HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University will host Lion Pride Preview, a series of preview days for high school students or students interested in transferring to Southeastern.
Lion Pride Preview combines the former Senior Day, Junior Day and Open House events.
“During Lion Pride Preview, students will have the opportunity to tour campus and housing, while learning more about the admissions process, scholarships, financial aid and campus life,” said Keslie Smith, coordinator of recruiting. “The preview also includes an information browse with representatives from various academic departments, student affairs departments and auxiliary services. Students and guests will also enjoy lunch on us.”
Lion Pride Preview days are scheduled Oct. 15 and Nov. 5, 2011, and Jan. 28 and March 31, 2012.
All events will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., except for the November 5 preview day. Since November 5 is Southeastern’s homecoming, the preview day will be centered around homecoming festivities, allowing prospective students and guests to participate in tailgating, watch the homecoming parade and attend the game for free.
For all preview days, students and guests need to check in by 10 a.m. at the Pennington Student Activity Center, located on the corner of University Avenue and General Pershing Street.
