Our Financial Aid & Scholarships team works one-on-one with students and families to navigate every step of the process—from scholarships and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to understanding aid offers and exploring payment options. We’re here to help your student find the best path to earning a Southeastern degree.

Southeastern’s tuition and fees are among the lowest in the state and region.

A Safe Place to Learn and Grow

As a parent, you want to know your student will be supported in every way – in a safe environment. At Southeastern, creating a safe, welcoming campus environment is one of our highest priorities.

Our caring campus community is supported by comprehensive safety resources designed to help students live, learn, and thrive with confidence. These include post certified police officers, a campus-wide emergency alert system, the Safe Campus app, Code Blue emergency phones, strategically placed security cameras, fire alarms, and multiple emergency communication systems. Together, these resources provide peace of mind for students and their families while fostering an environment where every student can focus on achieving their goals.

“The campus’s safety gave us peace of mind, but it was the caring people who convinced us Southeastern was the right choice.”

Michael F.

Caring the Whole Student

College is a time of tremendous growth, and every student deserves the support to succeed academically, personally, and emotionally. At Southeastern, student well-being is a priority. Our campus offers a wide range of resources included within tuition and fees—including health and counseling services, academic support, accessibility services, career guidance, and programs that promote physical and emotional wellness. Whether students need help navigating a challenge, building healthy habits, or preparing for their future, they’ll find caring professionals and a campus community ready to support them every step of the way.

The REC offers a variety of options to work out, stay healthy, and get in the game, including intramural sports, group exercise studios, an indoor track and much more.

A Family Tradition

Five Generations of Southeastern Lions

Almost 100 years ago, in 1926, the first class graduated from Southeastern. Since then, over 75,000 people have earned their degree and joined them as Southeastern alumni.

For one family, following in these footsteps and attending Southeastern has become a tradition characterized by excellence, dating all the way back to that first graduating class.
