1Students must complete a minimum of 6 hours in a two-semester sequence of biological science plus a physical science or a two-semester sequence of a physical science plus a biological science. Students must complete one of the natural science two-semester sequences listed in the Admissions Criteria and Academic Regulations section of this catalog.

2Twelve semester hours in one foreign language are required.

3Students must choose 27 credit hours of communication electives in each of the three categories, with at least 15 hours at the 300- or 400-level.
