Southeastern, NTCC sign memorandum of understanding on honors pathway
Officials from Northshore Technical Community College and Southeastern Louisiana University signed an agreement Monday (Nov. 18) to officially align resources that will provide high achieving NTCC students with the opportunity to take advantage of additional support for academic development provided by Southeastern’s honors program membership.

Southeastern chemistry major Devin Schwaibold successfully defends his honors senior thesis, “Boron-Mediated Anti-selective Aldol Reactions of N, N-dialkylarylamides.” The Ponchatoula native will begin studying at Penn State University to continue his research and take advantage of his recent honor, an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship that will provide funding for Ph.D. studies.
