Alumni Benefits for YEA Program

Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) Northshore is a yearlong program that guides middle and high school students through launching and running their own real businesses or social movements.

YEA! Northshore is open to all students in grades 6-12 attending schools in St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parish. While in the Academy, students will receive all the necessary tools to launch their very own real, legal businesses. This includes access to valuable resources like attorneys, accountants, business mentors, and graphic designers; plus, an audience with investors for REAL start-up cash. Students will even have the opportunity to win college scholarships.

“We are excited to offer the Academy locally at Southeastern Louisiana University and Northshore Technical Community College,” said Andrea Oser, Program Manager. “We are now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 class, which will begin this fall, and are looking forward to an exciting year teaching our students how to turn their ideas and passions into successful business ventures!
