Dr. Pamela Egan has practiced primary care with a focus on preventative medicine for the past 35 years. Her philosophy is to use the most natural solutions to restore the body’s balance inside and out. In addition to her wellness program, Egan Wellness Clinic, she also offers Medical Spa Aesthetics and has been voted the Northshore’s best Holistic Doctor/Practitioner for the past 10 years.Dr. Egan graduated from ULL with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, received a Master of Nursing from LSUHSC in New Orleans with a focus on Adult/Mental Health and completed the Adult & Family Nurse Practitioner Programs. She completed a Fellowship through the Metabolic Medical Institute, Master of Science in Metabolic & Nutritional Medicine from USF College of Integrative Medicine and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Southeastern. She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. Pamela is active in her community and state, serving on many boards and leadership positions including the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System, Louisiana Board of Regents, President of Safe Harbor Domestic Violence Program and Junior League of Greater Covington. She also served as a board member for Leadership St. Tammany and Chairperson of the St. Tammany Parish Executive Committee. She was voted “Sustainer of the Year” by the Junior League of greater Covington.
Southeastern has a wonderful reputation and offered the Doctoral Program in Nursing and was close to home.
Through the help of Dr. Janet Jones with statistics and research project, I was able to get my book published, Managing Menopause with Bio-Identical Hormones.
Yes, my clinic is an “Anti-Aging Clinic” where we balance men & women’s hormones and assist them in achieving optimum health.

Spending time with Grandchildren, going to the beach, mountains, zoo, etc. Riding bikes on the trace.
My most enjoyable role in life is being “Mia” for my six grandchildren who bring much joy and happiness!
