*Grade of "C" or better.
††Major Course Grade of "C" or better.
To be eligible for the National Child Life certification exam, students must complete a 3-credit hour (120 clock hours) Child Life Practicum (FCS 326) and a 12-credit hour (600 clock hours) Child Life Internship (FCS 487). Placements are dependent on formal acceptance into a hospital-based Child Life practicum/internship program. By utilizing both FCS and free electives for the practicum and internship courses, students will have the opportunity to complete the requirements necessary for exam eligibility within the FCS 120-hour degree plan.
