The Business Research Center employs experienced researchers who undertake industry and economic development research projects. The operations of the the center are overseen by the Southeast Louisiana Business Center.
Mr. William Joubert
Mr. Bill Joubert serves as Director of the Business Research Center. He also directs Southeastern's Department of Economic and Business Development, the Southeast Louisiana Business Center, and the Small Business Development Center. His career includes 15 years as a business consultant. He is well known for his involvement in several economic development organizations. Mr. Joubert's education includes an MBA from Southeastern and Bachelor of Science from LSU in Economics and International Trade and Finance.
Mr. Herb Holloway
Herb Holloway is the Research Economist for Southeastern's Business Research Center. His primary activities include conducting economic impact studies and tracking economic trends and developments in the Northshore region. Herb previously held positions as a Farm Business Management Specialist with the University of Kentucky and as an Economist with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. He holds a B.S. from LSU and an M.S. from North Carolina State University, both in Agricultural Economics.
