HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University will limit access to its campus during evening hours while the university is closed Dec. 19-Jan. 2.

The policy is being implemented to help ensure the safety of faculty, staff and students during the holiday break and to better safeguard university property, university officials said.

From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the closure dates, only essential personnel and students who are living on campus will be permitted access.

Students will have access to their residence halls via SGA Drive. Faculty and other individuals seeking access to campus must call the University Police Department at (985) 549-2222 to make arrangements. University Police is open around the clock to assist with all inquiries.

“We wish everyone a joyous holiday and look forward to seeing you in the New Year,” said President Randy Moffett.
