Since July 2012, Southeastern has recycled more than 56 tons of paper, plastic and metal cans. Additionally, 19 bales of cardboard, as well as used printer cartridges have been collected and bundled for resale. In addition to saving decreasing landfill disposal, Southeastern has realized an incremental source of revenue from recycling efforts that will help fund additional sustainable initiatives.
