HAMMOND -- Students can register early for Southeastern Louisiana University’s fall 2007 semester or change their schedules during four open registration dates this summer.

The dates when eligible students may register or drop and add classes are June 21, June 28, July 12, and July 19.

“Taking advantage of early registration opportunities is in the student’s best interest,” said Stephen Soutullo, dean of enrollment management. “Students who register early find scheduling easier and less hectic than waiting until regular fall registration.”

“This is also the perfect time for students who have already registered for fall classes to adjust their schedules,” he added.

Students must be advised prior to registering, if advising is required by their academic department.

Eligible students can register online by clicking on the "LEONet" link on the university's home page, www.selu.edu, and logging into the university's intranet at the “LEONet-Students” link. Students who need assistance with accessing the registration system may contact the Records and Registration Office at 1-800-222-SELU or 985-549-2066.

Final fall registration is Aug. 13-16.  Aug. 1 is the final day for students to apply for admission for the fall 2007 semester. Students can apply for admission online at www.selu.edu. For additional information, contact the Office of Admissions at 985-549-5637, 1-800-222-SELU or admissions@selu.edu.
