HAMMOND It’s time to rock out…again!  KSLU 90.9FM, Southeastern Louisiana University’s public radio station, will host its fourth Guitar Hero Challenge in the Student Union mall on Sept. 4-5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“For two days Southeastern students will once again have the opportunity to rock while playing the popular Playstation video game, this time to classic Aerosmith tunes,” said Chad Pierce, KSLU underwriting and development representative.

Pierce said KSLU will charge $2 a song with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“When the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk took place in April, people started to ask us to do another Guitar Hero Challenge,” Pierce said. “It seemed like a perfect opportunity to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“Everyone is encouraged to play. There are no age limits,” said Pierce. “We’ve seen students, staff, faculty and visitors rock out on the stage.”
