SGA, Delts host motivational lecture for 'millenial generation'

     HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Student Government Association and Delta Tau Delta fraternity are sponsoring a guest lecture targeting the “Millennial Generation” April 20, 7-9 p.m., at the Alumni Center.

     The address by Dan Couladis, public speaker and certified facilitator of the “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” -- “It’s Your Choice … Stand Out or Stand in Line!” – is designed to give those born between 1978 and 1998 tools for increasing their leadership ability and influence, and positively standing out amongst their generation.

     Couladis has presented to crowds of all sizes on leadership and personal effectiveness. Previously he has held positions in the federal government, the non-profit sector and a Fortune 100 company. He is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC, and recently received his master’s degree in business administration from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. With his true passion for leadership and personal development, he is currently working to expand formally into his own personal coaching business geared towards young adults.
