Starbucks grand opening Monday

HAMMOND – A new coffee outlet has been added to Southeastern Louisiana University’s War Memorial Student Union.
Starbucks will host a grand opening on Monday, April 27, from 12:30-2:30 p.m., said Martin Balisteri, food service director for Aramark, Southeastern’s food services provider.
“The festivities will take place in the Student Union mall and begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m.,” Balisteri said. “There will be lots of fun including live entertainment compliments of the Reggie Sanders Jazz Trio, a ‘guess how many coffee beans’ game, ‘Starbucks Jeopardy,’ caricature artist and Southeastern student Ashley Bauman, free refreshments and more.”
Aramark oversees 10 dining locations on Southeastern’s campus.
