2009 SOUTHEASTERN HOMECOMING QUEEN AND KING – Marjorie Parker of New Orleans, a senior organizational communications major, and Anthony “A.J.” Calderone of Kentwood, a senior industrial technology major, were named Queen and King of Southeastern Louisiana University’s Homecoming 2009 at halftime of the university’s Homecoming game Saturday, Oct. 17. Parker, sweetheart of the NAACP, is active in the Student Government Association, Ladies of the Green and Gold and the Project Pull mentor program. She received the Southeastern Green “S” award and is a member of Who’s Who Among American College Students. Calderone is beau of Phi Mu fraternity. He is a member of the intramurals rugby team and Kappa Sigma fraternity, serving as the fraternity’s treasurer. He is also a dean’s list and honor roll student.
