Southeastern LSBDC to host seminar on international markets

     HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at Southeastern Louisiana University will offer a seminar on international trade on Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon.
     The free seminar entitled “Unlocking the Door to International Markets” will be held at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center, 1514 Martens Drive in Hammond.
     Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC, said participants will learn the fundamental concepts of doing business internationally.
     “Topics include fundamentals of the export process, advantages and disadvantages and identifying clients through SBA and Ex Im Bank,” she said. “Participants will also learn how to determine export readiness, use trade missions and trade fairs to get international exposure, and how to benefit from LSBDC services.”
