Southeastern welcomes students back for the start of classes this week while we continue to keep all faculty, staff and students who are not yet able to make it to campus in our thoughts as the region works to recover from devastating flooding.
We attempted to reach ALL our students in recent days, but we realize communication has been difficult, if not impossible for some. If you are just now able to see this message, please contact so we can have a better understanding of your status and work with you so you can attain your educational goals.

District Literary Rally 2016

Dear Southeast Louisiana District Literary Rally Participant:

Southeastern Louisiana University is pleased to welcome you to our campus for the Southeast Louisiana District Literary Rally. We have treasured our long-standing relationship with the Rally Association to encourage academic achievement and to support our state's scholastic rally competition at both the district and state levels. We believe that recognizing the accomplishments of our high school students is an integral part of promoting the quality of education in our state.

Southeastern is especially pleased to offer Freshmen Scholastic Achievement Awards to the winners of this year's district rally. These scholarships are made available to encourage participation in the rally and to stimulate interest among outstanding students to explore the opportunities offered by Southeastern's excellent academic programs. In addition, please know that Southeastern offers a challenging Honors Program that has been nationally recognized. We are a caring campus, a place where learning and teaching lead to outstanding academic work by graduates who go on to accomplish great things.

We look forward to your participation in the Southeast Louisiana District Literary Rally on Saturday, March 5, 2016. During your visit on Rally Day, the Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association will host our Annual Rock 'N Roar Fest, which you are invited to attend. Our campus community of students, faculty, and staff stand ready to assist you during your visit.
