2013 Distinguished Alumnus: Angelo Distefano

Angelo Distefano, a native of Independence and resident of Baton Rouge, he holds a
bachelor of science degree in business. In 1983, he started a landscape business,
Angelo’s Lawn-Scape of Louisiana, which has grown to become one of the foremost landscaping
operations in the Baton Rouge area and in the state. Angelo’s has become a full service
design-build-maintain firm that specializes in outdoor kitchens, irrigation systems
and landscape lighting. His firm has won numerous landscape excellence awards from
the Baton Rouge Landscape Association.
