To be eligible for full admission to Southeastern, international beginning freshmen
students must meet ALL of the following criteria:
Must have completed a recognized secondary school program with a minimum Grade Point
Average of 2.35.
Must demonstrate college level English proficiency by one of the methods below:
ACT – 18 English
SAT – 500 ERWS (430-440 pre 2015)
Accuplacer NG – 250 Writing
TOEFL – 550 paper-based/79 internet-based
IELTS – 6.5 overall band
Must complete the residual Math ACT, SAT, or ALEKS to meet math placement required
by one of the methods below:
To be placed directly into College Math:
ACT – 19 Math
SAT – 510
ALEKS – 35
OR
To be placed in a co-requisite:
ACT – 16 Math
SAT – 430
ALEKS – 30-34
Please note that students in F1 status are not eligible to participate in degree programs
that are online only. Such programs include but are not limited to the RN to BSN program
and BA in Organizational Leadership.
