Dr. Suzzanne Calloway has been an instructor of English at Southeastern Louisiana University for the past 26 years. She teaches American Literature, Freshman Composition, and Dual Enrollment classes. Her teaching philosophy is based on a student-centered approach, and she believes students should be given every opportunity to succeed but are ultimately responsible for their own learning. After studying at Columbia University in NYC, she taught a Special Topics class on the Literature of the Holocaust. Her degrees were earned from Louisiana State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
