Brandon Guidry is an Instructor in the Department of English and World Languages. He obtained both his BA and MA at Southeastern. His primary focus during his graduate career was looking into how the body is framed, defined, and dismantled through a queer lens. As an instructor at SELU, he primarily teaches English 1010, 1020, 2290, 2300, and 2310. Mr. Guidry’s dedication to his students extends outside of the classroom as he is part of the English and World Languages Department’s FAC, has participated in the Green and Gold Mentorship program through Southeastern, and has been part of Northshore Community College’s DEI Committee when he worked there full time.
Rhetorical Composition, with a specialization in information organization, narrative writing, and argumentative form. His expertise also includes topics such as Gender and Sexuality, British Literature, and American Literature.
