Ashley Woodard, MSW, LCSW-BACS: Ashley Woodard is a licensed clinical social worker and a board approved clinical supervisor with over 12 years of post-master’s social work practice experience. Mrs. Woodard earned her BSW from Southeastern Louisiana University and MSW from Louisiana State University. Mrs. Woodard has over ten years experience as a field supervisor for not only students in the baccalaureate social work program at Southeastern Louisiana University, but students attending other universities at the graduate level. Mrs. Woodard served as the Field Coordinator for the Social Work Program at Southeastern Louisiana University as well as the Chair of the Social Work Program’s Community Advisory Board for 5 years. Mrs. Woodard currently serves as an Instructor and Field Liaison for the BSW Program. Additionally, Mrs. Woodard is an adjunct instructor for the Health Systems Management Program at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Mrs. Woodard truly has a passion for teaching and working with students. During the fall semester of 2020, she served as a consultant for the Southeastern Louisiana University’s Employee Case Management Covid-19 Task Force where she was able to develop a resource guide and provide education on Covid-19 response protocols. Mrs. Woodard is also deeply passionate about medical social work as she has spent most of her career in a hospital setting. She was a founding member of the Shock/Trauma team at North Oaks Medical Center. Mrs. Woodard is an active member with NASW-LA and enjoys attending the yearly conference to network with other professionals. Mrs. Woodard’s education and work history have allowed her the ability to establish relationships with not only key stakeholders of the Southeastern Louisiana University community, but also with key stakeholders in the Florida Parishes area.
