Department of Biological SciencesMurray is an associate professor in the Department of Biological Science. His research focuses on the physiological ecology of aquatic vertebrates in coastal systems and the Neotropics. Dr. Murray’s work utilizes field-based data collection and laboratory techniques to diagnose how anthropogenic changes to physiological processes alter demographic, community and ecosystem-scale dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. from the Auburn University and is currently using applied science to mitigate human-crocodilian conflict in Costa Rica.
