Dr. Ghassan Alkadi is a Professor of Computer Science at Southeastern Louisiana University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University with a specialization in Software Engineering and Information Systems. His teaching focuses on project-based courses such as Software Engineering, Information Systems, and the Capstone Project, where students collaborate on real-world software solutions in partnership with industry. He also teaches in Southeastern’s online MBA program, where he helps students connect technology and business practices to drive innovation. Dr. Alkadi’s mission is centered on student success, from building strong professional networks to securing internships and full-time positions. He has also coauthored published papers in computer science education with students and colleagues, reflecting his commitment to mentoring and advancing student scholarship.
