Ryan Castillo is an instructor of information literacy. He earned his Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008. He began teaching credit-bearing classes on information literacy and technology literacy in 2009, and he has been teaching the LS1020 class at Southeastern Louisiana University since 2019. Mr. Castillo also serves as the coordinator for the LS1020 courses, a position that he has held since 2022. Before teaching information literacy, he worked for the now defunct Library Council of Southeastern Wisconsin.
