Jamie Napolitano, MS, CCLS, is a dedicated Certified Child Life Specialist with more than 25 years of hands-on experience working with children and families in the community and in child life programs in hospitals throughout Texas and Louisiana. She earned her Master of Science in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. As an educator, Jamie has shared her expertise by teaching university-level courses in child life and development for over 15 years. Her commitment to the next generation of professionals is also evident in her role as the organizer of the Southeastern Child Life Student Association and faculty advisor, where she provides mentorship and guidance to students pursuing a career in child life.
Working with hospitalized children and their families. Jamie has been a member of the Association of Child Life Professionals for more than 20 years, and she has been a co-presenter at conference on topics such as child life collaboration during Hurricane Katrina and parenting the chronically ill child.
