Welcome to the Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Southeastern, one of the largest academic departments of its kind in Louisiana. We are home to more than 1000 students studying Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Health and Physical Education, Health Sciences, and Sport Management.
Facilities include teaching / research laboratories for exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, motor behavior, athletic training, and aquatics.
Programs include internships and clinical experiences to gain real-life experience.
Annual ASK KHS Conference provides interaction with regional professionals in careers associated with our fields of study.
Student Profile
Having already worked hands-on with some of the best athletes in the country through a student internship with the Saints, athletic training student Liam Daigle Aucoin is building a career on keeping the pros on the field and at the top of their game.
