Serena Rose Arandia is a passionate educator dedicated to fostering student growth and pushing the boundaries of language. After first starting her career in the high school setting, teaching World and American History, she found her love for writing to be one she needed to share for as long as she could. With years of experience teaching diverse student populations across multiple disciplines, she emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, student voice, and inclusivity in the classroom. Her commitment to students extends beyond the classroom in hopes of providing accessibility to a community of learners determined to go through this life as one. Serena Rose is an active writer and grant professional, helping nonprofits and educational organizations achieve their goals through well-crafted funding proposals. She currently teaches Composition and English for Speakers of Other Languages at the high beginning and high intermediate levels. Her work combines her deep love of teaching with her dedication to service and community-building.
