Area of Expertise
My research interests center on investigating principles of learning, with two main areas of focus: delay of reinforcement and social behavior. My first area of interest involves examining how delayed reinforcement impacts the acquisition and maintenance of behavior. For instance, I have conducted a series of experiments to investigate the effects of different parameters of partially signaled delays on responding maintained by delayed reinforcement. Secondly, I am interested in factors that affect social behavior. For that purpose, I have conducted experiments to understand how the magnitude and delay of reinforcement impact cooperation.
Courses that I often teach include:
PSYC 3430 (Conditioning and Learning)
PSYC 3630 (Organizational Behavior Management)
PSYC 4210 (History and Systems of Psychology)
PSYC 3350 (Research Design and Analysis)
PSYC 1010 (General Psychology I)
